📌 Netherlands – Drone Sightings Halt Air Traffic Near Eindhoven
Air traffic over Eindhoven in the southern Netherlands was suspended for several hours after unidentified drones were spotted near the airport and the nearby Volkel Air Base. Dutch forces tried but failed to shoot them down, prompting authorities to close the airspace until 23:00. The incident fits a wider pattern of drone activity around military sites in northern Europe, with some officials suspecting Russian “hybrid warfare”, though Moscow denies involvement. EU states are now coordinating tighter anti-drone defences.

📌 Vietnam – Deadly Floods and Landslides Kill at Least 90
At least 90 people have died and 12 are missing in Vietnam after days of heavy rain triggered severe flooding and landslides. Around 186,000 homes were damaged and more than three million livestock were swept away, causing damage worth hundreds of millions of pounds. Dak Lak province was hardest hit, with over 60 deaths since 16 November. Power outages affected 258,000 people, and key roads and railway lines were blocked, as military and police units were deployed to assist. Authorities link the disaster to increasingly extreme weather driven by climate change.

He forced his way past photographers and rushed the singer before co-star Cynthia Erivo intervened.
