Abdurrahman Al-Husami is the Founder and CEO of Makana 360, a Data-Driven communications consulting firm; an early-stage Abdurrahman worked as an Evaluation and Strategic Communication Manager at National Policy Council in Royal Hashemite Court. In 2017, Abdurrahman was seconded from the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah II; as the Media and Communications Advisor for The Prime Minister of Jordan, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience gained while working in the Digital Communications Department of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince of Jordan offices in the Royal Hashemite Court
Driven by his passion for effective communications, he works exceptionally well with various government agencies and leaders. He worked as rapporteur for the National Committee on Preventing Violent Extremism. He also acted as Jordan’s liaison officer with major Social Media companies such as Facebook Co., Twitter, and Youtube, organizing the relationship. He also was the PM’s representative at several national committees. During the Global crisis of Covid19, Al-Husami launched the important National initiative and the strategic plan of the COVID19 high-performance Aman app. In addition, he played an essential role in the COVID-19 response, crisis management, communications, data analysis, and projections.
Abdurrahman completed multiple executive programs at King’s College London in Political Communication and Campaigning, a Strategic Communications Program at George Washington University, and the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the U.S. Department of State program. And other advanced training programs that advanced his skills to utilize the latest strategic and digital communication skills and techniques and his primary education since he carries a Bachelor’s Degree in IT from the University of Jordan.
